Sponsorship Terms and Conditions – 2026

1. Sponsorship Agreement

By signing below, the Sponsor agrees to participate as a sponsor in the UK–Kenya–UAE Investment Mission 2026, organised by CICL–UK, subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

2. Sponsorship Payment Terms

The Sponsor agrees to pay the full sponsorship fee for the selected category to the Organiser no later than 30th April 2026.
Payment may be made via MPesa.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in forfeiture of all sponsorship benefits.

3. Sponsorship Benefits and Deliverables

3.1 Organiser Obligations

The Organiser agrees to provide the Sponsor with the benefits specified in the selected sponsorship package.

3.2 Sponsor Obligations

The Sponsor agrees to submit all required logos, advertisements, branding assets, and promotional materials by 15th May 2026.

4. Sponsorship Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation Procedure

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Organiser.

4.2 Refund Terms

If cancellation is received at least 30 days prior to the Conference, 90% of the sponsorship fee will be refunded.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 15th May 2026.

5. Sponsorship Promotional Activities

The Sponsor agrees to conduct all promotional and marketing activities in a professional manner that reflects positively on the Mission and the Organizer.
The Sponsor shall not engage in any activity that may damage the reputation, credibility, or goodwill of the Mission or the Organizer.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Usage Rights

The Sponsor grants the Organiser permission to use the Sponsor’s name, logo, trademarks, and promotional materials solely for the promotion and marketing of the Mission.

6.2 Ownership Warranty

The Sponsor warrants that it holds all necessary rights to grant such permissions and that its intellectual property does not infringe upon any third-party rights.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Organiser shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the Sponsor’s participation in the Mission, including loss of revenue or profit, whether foreseeable or not.

8. Indemnification

The Sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser, its officers, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from the Sponsor’s participation in the Mission.

Terms and Conditions for Attendees – 2026

1. Attendee Identification

Attendees may be required to present valid identification, including a passport or government-issued ID, at the venue during check-in.

2. Attendee Cancellation and Refund Policy

All registration fees are strictly non-refundable once payment has been made.
This applies under all circumstances, including cancellation, visa denial, travel delays, illness, emergencies, or failure to attend.
No-shows will forfeit the full registration fee.

3. Attendee Substitution

If an attendee is unable to attend, a substitute participant may be permitted, subject to prior written notification and approval from the organizers.

4. Attendee Code of Conduct

All attendees must adhere to a professional code of conduct.
This includes respectful behavior and zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or misuse of facilities.

5. Program Changes

The organizers reserve the right to modify the program, schedule, speakers, or venue as necessary without prior notice.

6. Visa and Travel Responsibility

Attendees are solely responsible for obtaining travel visas, accommodation, and transportation unless otherwise stated.
CICL–UK bears no responsibility for visa refusals, travel disruptions, or related losses.

7. Speaker and Participant Disclaimer

The views expressed by speakers or participants do not necessarily reflect the views of CICL–UK or the event organizers.

8. Attendee Liability Waiver

By participating, attendees agree to release and hold harmless CICL–UK, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any claims or liabilities arising from participation, except where caused by proven negligence of CICL–UK.

CICL–UK respects your privacy rights. This Privacy Statement governs the collection, use, and disclosure of data, images, and video recordings by CICL–UK and its affiliates.

9.2.1 Personal Data

Personal Data refers to information relating to an identifiable individual.

9.2.2 Data Types

Collected data may include transaction records, financial information, user interactions, cookies, and publicly available information.

9.2.3 Non-Personal Data

Non-Personal Data does not directly identify an individual.

9.2.4 Data Roles

CICL–UK may act as either a data controller or data processor.

9.2.5 Legal Compliance

All data protection practices comply with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.

9.2.6 Privacy Inquiries

Privacy-related questions may be submitted through CICL–UK’s official communication channels.

9.3 Photography and Video Consent

By attending the Mission, participants grant CICL–UK permission to use photographs and video recordings for marketing, promotional, and documentation purposes without compensation.

Terms and Conditions for Flights and Accommodation – 2026

1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1 Availability

All flight and accommodation arrangements are subject to airline and hotel availability.

1.2 Payments

Payments for flights and accommodation are made directly to airlines and hotels.

1.3 Changes and Fees

Any changes to bookings may result in additional charges imposed by third-party providers.

1.4 Third-Party Liability

CICL–UK assumes no liability for service failures, delays, or cancellations by airlines, hotels, or other third-party providers.

2. Travel Documentation

Attendees are responsible for ensuring possession of valid passports, visas, and required health documentation.

3. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all attendees.

4. Complaints and Disputes

Any complaints regarding flights or accommodation must be addressed directly with the airline or hotel provider.
